The Catholic Church may expel the controversial governorship candidate of Benue APC, Reverend Father Alia over allegation of adultery with a married women at a hotel in Makurdi.
Source within the church told this newspaper that a controversial photograph of Alia and the married woman (name withheld) at a hotel bar which surfaced online at the beginning of this week has ridiculed the Catholic church in Nigeria.
Recall that Alia was suspended by the same catholic church for abandoning his priesthood and joined politics.
