Despite last week’s peace deal between the governor of Benue state, Reverend Father Hyacinth Alia and members of the State executive committee of the All Progressive Congress which analysts termed as a forced marriage that won’t stand a test of time, the party may be heading for a fresh crisis as the Senior Special Assistant to the governor on Culture and Entertainment, Mr. Mfater Kaha popularly known as El-Stuffy has accused the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume of being selfish and anti-masses.
El-Stuffy made his verbal attacks on Senator George Akume, critical stakeholders of the Benue APC as well as members of the party’s National Assembly Caucus led by Senator Titus Zam in his new album which many believed he released on the approval of Governor Alia yesterday.
Recall that the Aide had been a beneficiary of Akume’s benevolence since 1999. He was reportedly hidden in Akume’s residence in Maitama, Abuja for safety for months when a former commissioner for Lands and Survey, Mr. John Tondu ordered for his elimination for attacking him in one of his songs during the reign of Senator Gabriel Suswam as governor of the state.
The Aide who is from the same Mbadede Ward of Vandeikya local government with Governor Alia is believed to be attacking Akume and the stakeholders of APC because of the battle of supremacy between the governor and the SGF.
In the new album, he analysed the secret deals between Akume and Alia during the governorship race, stressing further that the secret deals had now led to battle which both of them are now hiding from the public.
“Chief Akume and Fr Alia were engaging in a secret sex known as “Ayar a huan” thinking they would not be found out , but they now have a pregnancy crisis and there is no need to deny that the sex happened. This implies that, the signs and symptoms of a major difference between Akume and Alia were always there for all to suspect. Although they had denied it but now with the crisis emerging, their cover is lifted. Truth must therefore be told” he said.
El-Stuffy in his song heavily castigated Senator George Akume and the stakeholders of APC in Benue State, calling them envious and retrogressive people who only care about their stomachs.
Kaha also berated Akume and the stakeholders for using their selfish interest to prevent Governor Alia from attending to state issues. He said that the SGF and his cohorts (Stakeholders) should stop disturbing the governor, stressing that the administration is not for them but the masses.
He also accused the structures of APC as “enemies” of progress who don’t want to allow Governor Alia a space to carry on with his development strides in the state. He added that Akume and his men are self centered and anti -masses
But according to an independent investigation carried out by Nigerian Concord Newspaper this evening, Awambe A Tiv visited Senator Akume at his residence in Maitama, Abuja, couple of months ago and was given a sum of N2 million.
He was however asked to do the job of a spy within the Alia-led administration but on getting to Makurdi, the singer explained Akume’s mission to the governor who in return released funds for him to release the album where he tongue-lashed the SGF, party’s stakeholders and members of the party’s National Assembly Caucus.
Checks on El-Stuffy’s social media pages showed that he has been posting negative things about Senator George Akume since he returned from his residence in Abuja.
A source at Senator Akume’s house said: “The negative utterances of the SSA against the SGF got to him, and when Senator Akume visited Makurdi during the Christmas, the SGF who was visibly angry sent the SSA out of his Makurdi residence, saying Mr Awambe A Tiv was an ingrate, that he never knew the young man was a betrayal and sellout.
“Awambe A Tiv attempted to beg but his sins were to grevious to be forgotten in a hurry. He eventually left the residence of the SGF at Judges Quarters in Makurdi without a dime”
