The Honourable Member representing Katsina-Ala/Ukum/Logo (Sankera) Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Prince Solomon Wombo, has distributed cargo tricycles to youth and women groups across his constituency as part of his ongoing empowerment programme.
Speaking during the distribution ceremony, Hon. Wombo urged the beneficiaries to make judicious use of the tricycles, particularly as the harvest season approaches. He noted that the initiative is aimed at enhancing livelihoods, promoting economic self-reliance, and empowering constituents to contribute meaningfully to local economic growth.
Represented by the Executive Chairman of Katsina-Ala Local Government Council, Hon. Dr. Justine Shaku, Hon. Solomon Wombo, fondly referred to as the Prince of Peace, expressed gratitude to his constituents for their steadfast support. He assured them that more dividends of democracy would continue to reach all parts of the constituency under his representation.
In a goodwill message, the Member representing Katsina-Ala West (Loko) State Constituency, Hon. Bemdoo Peter Ipusu, encouraged the beneficiaries to be good ambassadors of the constituency and to remain prayerful and supportive of Hon. Wombo’s leadership for greater success.
Similarly, Hon. Msughter Wata (Logo), Hon. Christopher Ukor (Ukum), and Mrs. Shagher (Katsina-Ala), in their separate remarks, expressed appreciation to Hon. Wombo for the gesture. They commended his commitment to grassroots empowerment and pledged to put the tricycles to productive use. The leaders also reaffirmed their unwavering support for his quality representation and sustainable development initiatives across the Sankera axis.
