No more opposition in Vandeikya, Says Omale

The chairman of the Benue State chapter of All Progressive Congress, Chief Benjamin Omale said there is no opposition in Vandeikya local government area of the State as a result of the massive decamping of members of the major opposition parties in the local government to the ruling party yesterday.

Omale spoke with one of our reporters over the phone this morning to express his gratitudes to members of the All Progressive Congress as well as decampees from the People’s Democratic Party and other parties like the African Democratic Congress in Vandeikya local government, the home town of Governor Hyacinth Alia yesterday.

According to the chairman, the success of the event joined together with the calibre of the people that decamped from the opposition parties to the ruling party yesterday means that there is no more opposition in the local government.

Omale pressed further that the massive decamping of core opposition members in Vandeikya local government yesterday indicates that the people are happy with the renewed hope agenda of President Bola Tinubu and the quality administration of Reverend Father Hyacinth Alia.

He added that both President Bola Tinubu and Governor Hyacinth Alia have performed creditably well as president of the country and governor of Benue State respectively hence the massive decamping in Vandeikya and other parts of the State.

The chairman however described the event as a historic day in the political life and activities of the APC party in Vandeikya LGA as prominent sons and daughters of Kunav land massively decamped from other political parties to the ruling party.

According to Omale, the massive decamping came as a result of the performance of Governor Hyacinth Alia in all areas of governance. He added that the party is still expecting more decampees from other local government areas of Benue State.

“With the massive decamping of major opposition members in Vandeikya local government yesterday, it is now clear that the local government has been sealed for Governor Hyacinth Alia” he said.

“The event and the turnout also show that the people of the local government and other parts of Benue State are happy with President Bola Tinubu and Governor Hyacinth Alia as their leaders.

“We are now calling on all the people of Benue State to give their votes to Tinubu and Alia during the next general elections”
