Sources at the meeting which was held in London between the presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Alhaji Abubakar Atiku, and Rivers state governor, Nyemson Wike, said that the former vice president has agreed to meet all the conditions which Wike had given for him and his team to work together with the party at the forthcoming general elections.

Although, Wike’s conditions at the meeting which was also attended by Chief Samuel Ortom, Seyi Makinde, Fintiri and Okezie Ikpeazu, governors of Benue, Oyo, Adamawa and Abia states respectively, weren’t unknown at the time of filing this report, Alhaji Abubakar Atiku agreed to meet all of them for peace to reign in the party.

Recall that Wike had few weeks ago called for the removal of Senator Iyorchia Ayu as the national chairman of the party over the partial roles he played during the last presidential primaries of the party in Abuja.

Sources who briefed Nigerian Concord Newspaper from London said that Atiku has agreed to sign an undertaking with Governor Wike and his team.

It was also gathered that Wike too has pledged to work with the PDP candidate once the agreement has been reached.
