The Special Adviser to Benue state governor, Reverend Father Hyacinth Alia on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Mr. Denis Akura has been summoned by the House of Representatives for questioning over the allegation of N20B theft.
A document obtained by Nigerian Concord Newspaper today indicated that Akura is to face a panel of the House of Representatives Committee on Public Petitions next Tuesday over an allegation that he stole N20B local government funds.
The letter however reads that his case will be heard and determined in his absence if he fails to show up for questioning on Tuesday.
