Nigerian Senator Ike Ekweremadu has filed a counter affidavit to challenge the request of his alleged victim of organ harvest, David Ukpo seeking reversal of court order to release his biodata for the purpose of investigations.

Ukpo had in August 30th urged a Federal High Court in Abuja to reverse its July 1 order and stop the release of his biodata to Ekweremado and the London court.

In the suit, Ukpo claimed his fundamental rights to fair hearing and personal privacy had been breached, as he was not made a party in the initial suit that lead to the court order.

Ekweremadu through his counsel Adeboyega Awomolo SAN said the order of the court has been executed and that what he requested was not the biodata but his bank account opening package and the information he supplied in his visa request to determine his true age only.

He urged the court to dismiss the application for constituting abuse of court process.

He said the request that the biodata should not be released is too late because the documents needed had already been transmitted to London court.

Counsel to David Ojonugwa Oguche said the counter affidavit has just been served on him and he needed time to react to it.

Justice Ekwo now fixed Sept 20 for hearing on application.
