The chairman of the Benue State chapter of All Progressive Congress, Chief Benjamin Omale has lauded members, leaders and stakeholders of the party over the successful stakeholders meeting which was held last weekend in Makurdi.
In a press statement he personally signed and made available to journalists this evening, Chief Omale stated that the outcome and turnout at the meeting was an indication that the ruling party is on ground in the state.
The statement reads below:
A Heartfelt Appreciation to Our Esteemed Political Leaders and Stakeholders
On behalf of the All Progressives Congress (APC) family in Benue State, we express our deepest gratitude to all the distinguished political heavyweights, party stakeholders, and faithfuls who honoured us with their esteemed presence at the recent Benue State Political Dinner and Expanded Stakeholders Meeting.
Your presence reaffirmed your unwavering commitment to the unity, strength, fellowship and continuous progress of our great party, the APC. The atmosphere of camaraderie, strategic dialogue, and shared purpose was a clear demonstration of our collective dedication to building a more prosperous Benue and a stronger APC.
We specially appreciate His Excellency, Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, Executive Governor of Benue State, for his visionary leadership, tireless support for the party, and steadfast commitment to service delivery. His Excellency remains a symbol of clear ideology, inclusive leadership, and accountable governance, which have inspired confidence both within the party and among the people of Benue.
We also extend our profound appreciation to His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, whose bold, reform-driven leadership has rekindled hope across the nation. Under his Renewed Hope Agenda, critical national policies such as fuel subsidy removal, currency reforms, economic restructuring, and targeted palliatives have laid the groundwork for a more resilient economy and a more self sufficient Nigeria. These decisive steps have not only repositioned Nigeria on the global stage but have also strengthened the APC’s popularity and credibility as a party of reform and progress.
Furthermore, we sincerely thank the National Chairman of the APC, Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, and the entire members of the National Working Committee (NWC) for their strategic support and continuous commitment to the grassroots growth, unity, and institutional strengthening of the party nationwide. Their leadership has been instrumental in deepening internal democracy and promoting effective coordination across all levels of the APC.
Our gathering served as a reaffirmation of the principles that continue to guide our movement which includes:
1. A clear ideology and vision rooted in people-centered development.
2. Strong and inclusive leadership that carries everyone along.
3. Respect for internal democracy, where every voice matters.
4. A culture of transparent decision-making for trust and accountability.
5. Robust grassroots mobilization that strengthens our base.
6. Deep commitment to discipline and unity within party ranks.
7. Visible policy delivery and good governance under the Alia administration.
8. Ongoing unveiling of government performance to build public trust.
9. Strategic communication that keeps our narrative strong and positive.
10. Inclusion of youth and women in meaningful leadership roles.
11. Investment in strong party institutions and structures for sustainability.
12. Embracing adaptability and innovation in an ever-changing political landscape.
13. Continuous encouragement and motivation of other political gladiators to join our great part.
Together, we are shaping a future where governance is people-driven, leadership is accountable, and the APC remains the preferred political platform for Nigerians across all regions.
Once again, we thank every leader, every stakeholder, and every member for their invaluable contributions. The journey ahead is great, but so is our collective resolve.
