Member representing Katsina-Ala/Ukum/Logo Federal Constituency, Hon. Prince Solomon Wombo yesterday, 28th December 2023, carried out his first constituency briefing in fulfilment of his campaign promises.
The federal lawmakers amid his father’s demise donated 1,300 bags of rice with lump sum cash in line with the Tiv adage of ” ka a vaan kpa iyaan”. He also announced scholarship for 300 hundred indigenous Sankera students in higher institution of learning and as well appointed 15 persons as his personal aides.
The constituency briefing was carried out at his constituency office/secretariat in Katsina-Ala local government area.
In his speech, Prince Wombo stated that the briefing was necessary so as to fulfil his campaign promises despite the demise of his father.
The Chief of Staff to the governor of Benue state, Mr. Paul Biam in his address commended Prince Solomon Wombo for such a wonderful gesture, describing it as first of it kind in the Sankera Axis.
In separate remarks, the Caretaker Chairman for Katsina-Ala local government, Hon. Francis Zanzan, Special Advisor to the Governor on Sanitation, Hon. Sunday Shizun and APC Chairman Mbazum ward, Hon. Orthaniel Sokpo all applauded Prince Solomon Wombo for the unique briefing administered to his people.
Other prominent sons present were Commissioner for ICT and Digital Economy, Hon. Kwaghgba Amande, Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism, Hon. Matthew Aboh, Chairman Local Government Civil Service Commission, Hon. James Ivever, Special Adviser to the Governor on Assembly Matters, Hon. Jonathan Lahave, Special Adviser to the Governor, Barr. Terngu Gwanger, Caretaker Chairmen for Ukum and Logo, acting Manager Benue Links, Mr. Fanafa, Hon. Demkwagh Iorver and Hon. Jonathan Modi. Others include Hon. Justin Shaku, elder Moses Tseagh, elder Ayongul, Prof. Daniel Amine, Hon. Aba Aondo Aba, Hon. Tertindi Abulum, etc. The occasion also witnessed a large magnitude of constituents, support groups, stakeholders as well as students.
