Trending online at the moment is last weekend’s disruption of a thanksgiving mass organized by a federal lawmaker, Sesoo Gboko in Konshisha local government area of Benue state, and it’s no longer a news that the governor of the state, Reverend Father Hyacinth Alia is being accused to have masterminded the attack which occurred at Annunciation Catholic Rectory, in Tsuwe Daka, Shangev Tiev.
But the question the public is asking the major accuser, Mr. Daniel Ihomun who is a factional Publicity Secretary of the party in Benue state
is the proof to his allegation that the disruption was organized and ordered by the state governor.
And does it mean that Alia must be blamed for every misfortune that befalls the Benue APC stakeholders group just because there is no love lost between him and the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume?
Ihomun’s malicious accusation that Governor Alia orchestrated the disruption of Rt. Hon. Sesoo’s thanksgiving mass in Konshisha without any proof will go a long way to expose plans by the APC stakeholders to drag the governor over everything. Peace is what they should be looking for and not baseless accusations like the one Ihomun just made.
Can Ihomun provide the public with facts that the thugs who disrupted the mass were sponsored by the Caretaker Chairman of Konshisha Local Government Council, Philip Achua and the Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management, Aondowase Kunde as he has alleged?
Accusing a state governor who is the chief security officer of his state of inviting anarchy into his state is a strong allegation that Ihomun and the Benue APC stakeholders must prove beyond doubt, and that is if they aren’t being malicious for political reasons.
