The leader of the Benue state chapter of People’s Democratic Party, Chief Samuel Ortom PhD today donated a gigantic office to the party in Makurdi. The building will serve as the state secretariat of the party.
The gesture of the former Benue state governor is to save the party from being homeless after an eviction from the former Secretariat in Makurdi.
Speaking at the event, Chief Ortom who was flanked by his Aides said as a leader of the Benue PDP, he needed to do what he did to ensure that the party operates in a conducive environment .
He added that he won’t leave any stone unturned while playing his roles as the leader of PDP to ensure that the party bounces back to power in 2027.
Chief Ortom also assured the party of his unwavering supports to all the candidates of the party in the forthcoming local government elections in the state.
He however charged the Caretaker Committee of the party to ensure that it unites all the warring factions.
Recall that security operatives at the former Secretariat of the party this morning locked members of the state caretaker committee out of the building this morning, claiming the order was from the owner of the facility.
