The Chairman of the Benue State chapter of All Progressive Congress, Chief Benjamin Omale has appreciated President Bola Tinubu, Governor Hyacinth Alia, SGF George Akume, APC National Working Committee, Benue APC leaders and stakeholders for the successful primary election in the state at all levels.
Dr. Omale specifically appreciated President Bola Tinubu for the peace move he initiated between the warring camps of Governor Hyacinth Alia and Senator George Akume, stressing that the peace move contributed to the peaceful and successful House of Assembly, Governorship, Senate, House of Representatives and Presidential primaries across the twenty three local government areas of Benue State.
He also lauded both Governor Alia and Senator Akume for embracing the Presidential peace move, noting that the peace assisted the party to record credible primaries without any crisis in the state for the first time.
The Benue APC chairman congratulated all the party’s candidates from the State House of Assembly, Senate, House of Representatives and the Governorship for their victories at the exercises.
According to him, the achievements of both President Bola Tinubu and Governor Hyacinth Alia will speak for all the candidates at the general elections in 2027.
He added that President Bola Tinubu and the APC National Working Committee under Professor Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda should expect the same resounding victories for all the party’s candidates including Governor Hyacinth Alia and the President in 2027 elections.
Omale however called on aspirants who didn’t make it at the primaries not to lose hope, noting that the party so many opportunities where they took can be fixed both at the state and federal levels after the 2027 general elections.
He pleaded with them not to o abandon the party and all the successful candidates, assuring that they took will be considered in the sharing of positions in the party both in Benue and Abuja in 2027.
Commending President Tinubu for his exemplary leadership and unwavering commitment to the growth, unity, and democratic ideals of the Party, which greatly contributed to the peaceful and successful conduct of the APC primary elections across the country, particularly in Benue State, Chief Omale expressed profound appreciation to Governor Alia for providing purposeful leadership and ensuring an atmosphere of peace, transparency, fairness, and inclusiveness throughout the primary election process in the state.
In his statement, Omale described the successful conduct of the primaries as a clear demonstration of the unity, strength, and internal democratic culture of the APC in Benue State.
He further commended all the committees deployed by the National Secretariat to conduct the Presidential, Governorship, Senatorial, House of Representatives, and State House of Assembly primaries in the state, noting that their professionalism, transparency, and commitment ensured the credibility and peaceful outcome of the exercise.
The Benue APC Chairman also applauded members of the State Executive Committee, party leaders, stakeholders, aspirants, youths, women, and the entire membership of the Party for their maturity, discipline, and orderly conduct throughout the process.
According to him, the successful completion of the primaries has further strengthened the Party’s cohesion and positioned the APC for greater victories in the 2027 General Elections.
