The Chairman of the Benue State chapter of All Progressive Congress, Chief Benjamin Omale has appreciated members of the party in Benue state for massively storming the North Central mega rally for the reelection of President Bola Tinubu and his Vice, Alhaji Kassim Shettima.
In a statement he sent to journalists this morning, Chief Omale said the massive turnout of APC members in Benue state and how they added colour and support to the mega rally which was attended by the six North Central Governors including the Governor of Benue State, Reverend Father Hyacinth Alia as well as the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu was a testimony that Benue State is one hundred percent for Tinubu/Shettima in the January 2026 presidential election.
Chief Omale also lauded Governor Hyacinth Alia for providing logistics which enabled the party to mobilize members massively to attend the mega rally..
According to Omale, the Benue State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), under the leadership of Governor Hyacinth Iormem Alia will be committed and mobilize massive support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.
Recall that the Benue APC delegation was led by the State Chairman, Hon. Chief Dr Benjamin Omale, alongside members of the State Executive Committee, party stakeholders and supporters from across the state.
Omale lauded Governor Alia who spoke at the event and assured President Tinubu of the state’s commitment to mobilising massive support for his re-election, expressing confidence in the party’s preparations for the 2027 general elections.
Omale expressed pleasure in the governor who urged APC members and stakeholders across the North-Central region to remain united, strengthen grassroots mobilisation and work collectively towards securing support for Tinubu and other party candidates in 2027.
In his speech at the event, Governor Alia also acknowledged the Federal Government’s support for development initiatives in Benue State, particularly in infrastructure and township development. He noted that the policies and interventions of the Tinubu administration had helped create an enabling environment for states to pursue their development programmes.
He commended the President for his support and expressed optimism that continued cooperation between the Federal Government and state governments would promote development and improve the welfare of citizens.
The rally was attended by the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON; the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume; the APC National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda; governors from the North-Central region; ministers and other government officials.
Millions of party supporters from Benue, Kogi, Kwara, Nasarawa, Niger and Plateau states also attended the event, which was organised to mobilise support for the re-election of President Tinubu and Vice-President Kashim Shettima in 2027.
