Oche lauds Alia over construction of Igumale-Agila road

The Executive Chairman of Ado Local Government, Engineer Sunday Oche has lauded the Benue State Governor, Reverend Father Hyacinth Alia over the ongoing construction of Igumale-Agila road.

Engineer Oche who spoke when he went ro inspect the ongoing construction of the 31-kilometre Igumale–Agila Road expressed satisfaction with the pace and quality of work.

During the inspection, he assured residents that the project would be completed within the stipulated timeframe, noting that the contractor has demonstrated commitment to delivering a durable and standard road for the benefit of the people.

The Igumale–Agila Road project is one of the major infrastructural initiatives being executed through the joint efforts of the Benue State Government and Ado Local Government. The project reflects the commitment of the administration of His Excellency, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, to improving infrastructure and accelerating economic development across the state. The road is expected to enhance transportation, boost commerce, and improve access to communities within Ado Local Government.

Speaking after interacting with the engineers and contractors at the project site, Engr. Sunny Oche commended the professionalism and dedication of the construction team.

He expressed confidence that, with the level of progress recorded, there would be no unnecessary delays in completing the project. According to him, the contractor has no reason for excuses, as all necessary support has been provided to ensure the road is delivered according to specifications and schedule.

Addressing the large crowd that gathered during the inspection, the Chairman reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to transforming Ado Local Government in line with Governor Alia’s transformative agenda across the state through impactful infrastructure projects.

He stated that the construction of roads is only one aspect of the government agenda, adding that plans are also made to light up streets at various communities and villages across the local government in order to improve security and economic activities.

Engr. Sunny Oche emphasized that his administration remains focused on delivering projects that will improve the lives of the people and create a more prosperous Ado.

Oche assured residents that every project embarked upon by his administration would be closely monitored to ensure transparency, quality, and value for public funds. He also urged the people to continue supporting government initiatives aimed at bringing lasting development to the area.
