There was a big jubilation across Benue state today with the news of the declaration of the immediate past first lady of the State , Chief Mrs Eunice Ortom, PhD to contest the 2027 senatorial election.
Chief Mrs Eunice Ortom who is running for the Benue Northwest Senatorial election also emerged today as the consensus candidate of the People’s Democratic Party.
According to the people of Benue State, the former first lady will be widely accepted and supported as a result of her positive impacts in the state between 2015 and 2023.
According to them, the former first lady has been using her Eunice Springs Foundation to help several women, children, youths, farmers and families
