The message reads:

My dear State Chairman and brother Fatai Adams, your sudden death is like a lone lighted candle in a turbulent dark alley, which was blown off by a disruptive wind. It is such a tragic loss of an honest patriot. You were principled and loyal to higher ideals and good conscience. You laboured tirelessly for the good of our political party and the development of our people. You had great results to show for your sacrificial efforts.

You were cut down in your prime. Painful and sudden, your death left us speechless, but then God is faithful. It is often said, it is not how long, but how well. Have a great rest in eternity, my dear patriot and friend.

God Himself will heal the wounds so inflicted. He will abundantly give the family and all friends the fortitude and strength they need at this time.

Adieu my brother.
