The Imo state CAN youth chairman Amb. Kennedy Asuzu JP led some youths and Volunteer teams of the campaign against drug abuse among secondary school students in Imo state to the Office of the Wife of Governor of Imo state.
During the visit, he expressed appreciation to Her Excellency on her support and commitment in the fight against drug abuse in society through the Renovation of the Rehab center at the NDLEA headquarters in the state.
The high point of the visit was the unveiling of the ongoing campaign against drug abuse among secondary school students in imo State through the Drug Abuse symposium which the YOWICAN will be hosting in September 2023.
Her Excellency admonished the state chairman for taking up the laudable project of the Campaign and pledged her Support to partner with them on the project.
She also encouraged them to also ensure the parents are carried along and senstized about the perils of drug abuse so as to look out for their children.
The project is expected to last for one year in other to step down the campaign to all the Local government areas in the state.
