A former House of Representatives aspirant in Benue state chapter of All Progressive Congress, Mr. Pawa Orlu Dickson, is rejoining the People’s Democratic Party with thousands of his teaming supporters next week.
Pawa Orlu,a former Chief Security Officer to Governor Samuel Ortom had also served Senator Gabriel Suswam PhD as his Aide De Camp while he held sway as governor of the state.
Orlu a seasoned politician who ceremoniously retired from the police few years ago aspired to contest the House of Representatives for Sankera axis under the PDP but left for the APC when he couldn’t realize his ambition.
In the APC too, the celebrated former police chief threw his hat into the ring but was shortchanged by the leadership of the party which gave the ticket to Hon. Solomon Wombo in May 2022.
All efforts to pacify Pawa Orlu who felt cheated by the leadership of the All Progressive Congress met a brick wall as a result of their ingenuine intentions towards him.
He immediately began talks with the leadership of the People’s Democratic Party in Benue state and agreed to rejoin the party after due consultation.
He and thousands of his supporters will be received back into the party by the duo of Governor Samuel Ortom and Senator Gabriel Suswam next week.
