Benue Diaspora Forum, a unified group for Benue indigenes living in the United States of America has officially written the Presidency under President Bola Tinubu where it reported the masterminders of the insecurity in the North Central state.

The letter signed by Chief Barnabas Ochojila, President-General of Benue Diaspora Forum was delivered to the Presidency on Wednesday evening through the Office of the Chief of Staff to the president, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila.

The Benue Diaspora Forum which raised its concern over a spate of killings of Innocent people in Benue state accused politicians who have sworn to set the state ablaze as the brain behind the persistent insecurity.

The group accused these politicians of hijacking and fueling Herders/Farmers clashes to fight political wars against the Benue state government.

Benue Diaspora Forum in the letter listed Senators George Akume, Titus Zam, Emmanuel Udende and Abba Moro, Matthias Byuan, Pius Akutah, terser Ugbor and all the people that have declared themselves as Benue APC stakeholders as the masterminders of the killings in the state.

In the letter, Benue Diaspora Forum claimed that the inflammatory utterances from the above listed persons at different political fora are indications that they have a sinister motive for setting political thugs against Fulani herdsmen in the state.

Also, Benue Diaspora Forum begged the Presidency to look into an allegation by Benue Defenders where the above listed Benue politicians were accused of an influx of some Cameroonian fighters into the state through the Kwande Waterway.

According to Benue Diaspora Forum, the truth and secrets behind the ongoing killings in Benue state aren’t far-fetched as the perpetrators have openly said that they would make the state ungovernable.

Benue Diaspora Forum however regretted that the same people who have been sponsoring insecurity in Benue state in the name of joining Senator George Akume to fight a political war against the state governor, Father Hyacinth Alia are also the same people that have taken over the media space as well as the floor of the National Assembly to condemn the governor for not paying attention to the killings.

Benue Diaspora Forum wondered how the state can develop when foreign investors are scared to come and do businesses as a result of the insecurity orchestrated by members of Senator George Akume political family.

The Forum however pleaded with the Presidency under the leadership of President Bola Tinubu to stop the gladiators before they turn Benue state to a war zone just because of a mere perry leadership issue.

Finally, the group promised to officially write the two Chambers of the National Assembly as well as the Benue State House of Assembly on the development in the coming days.

Earlier in the letter, Benue Diaspora Forum congratulated President Bola Tinubu on his successful emergence as President and Commander-in-Chief of Armed Forces.
