The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the 2027 Benue State governorship election, Chief Michael Kaase Aondoakaa, SAN, today received his Certificate of Return from the leadership of the party at its National Secretariat, Wadata Plaza, Abuja.
Chief Aondoakaa was presented with the certificate following his recent emergence as the PDP candidate for the 2027 governorship election.
The PDP governorship flag bearer was accompanied to the ceremony by his running mate, Dr. Oyije Ochaekiti Ogbenjuwa, as well as other prominent leaders and stakeholders of the party from Benue State.
Speaking shortly after receiving the certificate, Aondoakaa expressed appreciation to the leadership and members of the PDP for the confidence reposed in him, assuring that he would work tirelessly to justify the trust placed in him and lead the party to victory in the 2027 general election.
The event also witnessed the presentation of a Certificate of Return to the former First Lady of Benue State, Her Excellency Dr. Mrs. Eunice Ortom, who emerged as the PDP Senatorial Candidate for Benue North-West Senatorial District Zone
The presentation of the Certificates of Return marks another significant milestone in the PDP’s preparations for the 2027 general election as the party intensifies efforts to reclaim power in Benue State and strengthen its representation at the National Assembly.
Many other PDP candidates across the country were issued their certificates of return today.
