Benue State Governor, Reverend Father Hyacinth Alia has charged the Chairman, Unity Caretaker Committee of the state chapter of All Progressive Congress, Chief Benjamin Omale to make the state proud in his new federal assignment
President Bola Tinubu had last week appointed Chief Benjamin Omale as the Chairman of the Governing Board of the National Orthopaedic Hospital, Enugu. Omale and other APC State Chairmen were appointed into key federal positions by the president.
Describing Omale as a round peg in a round hole for his new federal job during a formal ceremony where the letter of appointment was presented to him at the Government House in Makurdi today, Reverend Father Hyacinth Alia urged Chief Benjamin Omale to be a shining example of the state’s dignity and integrity in his new national role.
While welcoming the party chairman, the governor extended heartfelt gratitude to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for the confidence placed in Honorable Omale by appointing him as the Chairman of the Governing Board of the National Orthopaedic Hospital, Enugu.
He described Omale’s appointment as a testament to his outstanding leadership and a source of pride for the state, highlighting that his selection from among many across the country reflects his commitment and competence.
Furthermore, Governor Alia implored Chief Omale to use his appointment to prove to the world that Benue state has products and human resources to move the country forward.
The official appointment letter was signed and presented by Senator Dr. George Akume, the Secretary to the State Government.
