Achado gives financial support to six law students, offers free JAMB forms to 102 constituents

The member representing Gwer East/West Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Austin Asema Achado PhD has given a sum of N600,000.00 to six students of the Nigerian Law School who are also members of his constituency.

This is part of his responses to requests for special financial aids from Law School students of the federal Constituency which Arc. Achado represents at the Green Chambers of the National Assembly.

The six beneficiaries who are in Batch A of the scheme are Atsaka Tse Joseph from Law School Port Harcourt Campus, Igbalumun Isaac from Law School Enugu Campus, Asha Emmanuel from Law School Enugu Campus, Atule Hembadoon Harriet from Law School Kano Campus, Hembasuun Florence Dura from Law School Abuja Campus, and Hyundu Margaret Iwasen from Law School Enugu Campus. Each of them received a sum.of N100,000.00 from the federal lawmaker to lessen the high monetary burden required of legal studies in Nigeria.

A press release from the office of Rt. Hon. Achado quoted the federal lawmaker as saying personal, collective and constituency educational interventions and support would continue to be his representative regular thrust and priority from elementary to tertiary institutions.

In a related development, Achado in his quest to place priority on education has released funds to purchase JAMB forms for 102 students of the federal Constituency.

A media note from his office said that fifty one students from Masev and another fifty one from Tyoshin benefited from the post secondary education supports of the federal lawmaker.

“Masev Development Association MDA under Prof Vearumun Tarhule, as President General and Tyoshin Development Association, under Prof Kerker Joseph approved the 102 names from Masev and Tyoshin, respectively before Hon Achado released the registration funds and logistics today for the desired action.

“The Free JAMB Registration for the under-listed Gwer-East/Gwer West Constituents, is scheduled between Friday and Saturday, February 9th and 10th, 2024 at Crown Tech Cyber Cafe, Opposite Benue Links Park, Aliade from 8am to 6pm each day” the media note said.
