As the Supreme Court sets to decide the fate of the African Democratic Congress over the leadership tussle between the National Chairman of the major opposition party in Nigeria, Senator David Mark and a factional national chairman of the party, Mr. Nafiu Bala Gombe today, April 22, 2026, the leading ADC House of Assembly Aspirant for Akure South Constituency One, Aare Abiodun Oluwarotimi has called on members of the party to remain calm with a firm belief that the party will secure a major victory at the end of the legal battle.

In a statement this morning, the Frontline MHA Aspirant said that evidence before the Judiciary is clear enough to give victory to the Senator David Mark-led National Executive Council at the Supreme Court.

Aare Abiodun Oluwarotimi stated that the video in the possession of the Supreme Court where Nafiu Bala Gombe was seen during the handover of power to Senator David Mark by the ADC former national chairman, Chief Ralph Nwosu will play a major role in substantiating that the self-acclaimed national chairman was part of the transfer of power to the former Senate president.

According to him, the Nigerian Judiciary is a reliable institution and it will once again prove that it’s a succour to a common man in the case of Senator David Mark and Bala Gombe.

Furthermore, Aare Abiodun Oluwarotimi called on members of the African Democratic Congress nationwide to continue to remain in unity as nothing will stop the party from participating in the 2027 general elections
