The Jechira Development Forum has thrown it’s weight behind the Convener of Livitsar Support Group who is also a close ally and lead point man of Governor Hyacinth Alia in Konshisha local government, Engineer Livinus Adzer Tsar, PhD to represent Konshisha/Vandekya Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives in 2027.
The group based its total support to Engineer Tsar on his ongoing massive infrastructural and electricity projects in the federal Constituency and beyond, saying that it’s the first time that a private individual outside government would be spending his billions of Naira to support the developmental agenda of a sitting governor by grading roads, and providing light in communities that have been in darkness since creation.
Speaking in a press statement this morning, the President of the Jechira Development Forum, Barrister Emmanuel Hembe stated that the Konshisha-born philanthropist should be given a chance to bring federal presence to the federal Constituency with his wealth of experience as a philanthropist of repute.
According to the group, the massive road construction and electricity projects worth billions of Naira that are being done by Engineer Tsar with his own personal funds are signs that Jechira will get it right if he is made to represent at the National Assembly.
According to the group also, Jechira has had federal Representatives like Herman Hembe, Sesoo Gboko and others in the past but they all abandoned all the roads which Dr. Tsar is using his personal funds to build now..
“Despite the huge billions of Naira at their disposal, Hembe, Gboko and others that have held political posts in Jechira failed to bring succour to the people but see a private individual who has never been in any public position and he has been spending his billions to develop Jechira and beyond” the statement reads in parts.
The group specifically lauded Tsar over the 14 kilometers/33KVA electricity project (high tension) for about five villages across Konshisha local government, noting that this is the first time those villages are having light since they were created.
“We have had federal lawmakers and political appointees from the area in the past but none of them bothered to give those five villages light but we thank God that Dr Tsar through Livitsar Support Group has given them 33KVA light spending about N370million” the group noted.
Recall that Livitsar Support Group is one of the biggest support groups that is helping to project and promote the administrations of both President Bola Tinubu and Governor Hyacinth Alia in Benue state and beyond. The group with over four million members has promised to secure two million votes for the president and Governor Hyacinth Alia in the forthcoming elections. The group has also been galvanizing support and bringing people together for the reelection bid of Tinubu and Alia.
Also, the Jechira Development Forum also appreciated Dr. Tsar over the grading of about 19 kilometers roads worth N2billion to link about five council wards in Konshisha, stressing that the road has boosted the economic growth of Jechira as the five council wards are now using it to bring in their farm products.
According to the group, the road starts from Ushongo local government and leads to five Council wards in Konshisha local government.
