The chairman of the Benue State chapter of All Progressive Congress, Chief Benjamin Omale has congratulated all the Ward and Local Government Excos of the party after a successful congress last week
Chief Omale also lauded President Bola Tinubu, Governor Hyacinth Alia, leaders and members of the All Progressive Congress across the country for their supports to ensure that the state chapter of the party had a successful congress.
Speaking in his congratulatory statement, the Benue APC chairman specifically lauded Governor Hyacinth Alia for creating an enabling environment for party officials and members during the last Ward and Local Government Congresses in all the twenty three local government areas of Benue State.
He said that the governor’s effort was a reason no life was lost during the ward and local government congresses in the state.
Furthermore, Omale appreciated the NWC of the party for its transparency and also for sending a committee that was truthful and transparent all through the exercise.
He pressed further that members of the committees are people of integrity who displayed their maturity and commitment to the party during the Congress.
According to him, President Bola Tinubu’s efforts on political stability contributed to the success which was recorded during the congresses across the country.
He also appreciated members and leaders of the All Progressive Congress in Benue for their cooperation and mobilization for the success of the congresses.
He however condemned those that conducted parallel congresses in the state, noting that they have failed to comply with the party’s rules and regulation
He wondered how anyone would conduct a parallel congress without the presence of designated committees from the National Working Committee of the party.
He added that their aim is to distablize the party ahead of the next general elections. He appealed to them to return back to the fold and join hands with the party which is already working for the reelection bid of both President Bola Tinubu and Governor Hyacinth Alia.
“They must recognize the committee that was sent from Abuja. And also, there was no place the governor rejected anyone during the exercise. He actually made sure that it was all inclusive and everyone was welcomed to participate ” he added..
