Omale lauds Tinubu, APC NWC over lasting solution to Benue leadership tussle, pledges supports for Alia

The chairman of the Benue State chapter of All Progressive Congress, Chief Benjamin Omale has applauded President Bola Tinubu, the party’s National Working Committee led by Professor Nentawe Yilwadta and the entire national stakeholders of the party for finding a lasting solution to the leadership crisis in the Benue APC.
Omale made this commendation during a telephone interview with one of our reporters in Abuja this morning, saying that the resolution of the ruling party’s National Working Committee to recognize State governors as leaders of the party in their respective states has also resolved the crisis in Benue APC.
He also appreciated the party’s National Working Committee for extending his tenure as the chairman of the Benue State chapter of All Progressive Congress at the National Executive Council meeting held in Abuja last night.
Recall that there were spirited efforts by some federal appointees and lawmakers from Benue State to force the NWC of APC to dissolve the Omale-led state executive committee and then restore the already dissolved Austin Agada-led State Executive committee.
The Benue federal appointees and lawmakers had concluded plans to restore Austin Agada back during last night’s NEC meeting but the party’s NWC in its wisdom rather extended the tenure of the State executive committee led by Chief Benjamin Omale till all the party’s congresses will be held next year.
Thanking the party’s national leadership under Professor Nentawe Yilwadta for deeming it fit to extend his tenure as the state party chairman, Chief Omale promised that he and his Exco members will continue to support the party at all levels.
He added that as he has been doing before, he will continue to garner supports for President Bola Tinubu and Governor Hyacinth Alia so they can come out victoriously in the next general elections.
According to him, Governor Hyacinth Alia has done so well for the people of Benue in all areas and this has given him the highest votes in the entire North Central Region of the country.
He stressed that all these votes will be delivered to President Bola Tinubu in 2027. He noted that the president has delivered on his Renewed Hope Agenda and this will make his reelection bid an easy ride.
However, Chief Benjamin Omale enjoined the so-called APC stakeholders in Benue state to respect the resolution of the party that Governor Hyacinth Alia is the leader of the party in Benue state.
He urged them to stop fighting him but join hands with him and support him in is quest to develop Benue State.
On the digital registration of members, Chief Omale promised that his leadership will ensure that members of the party as well as those that wish to decamp from other political parties register massively, noting that this would also boost the winning chances of both President Bola Tinubu and Governor Hyacinth Alia in the next elections.
Meanwhile, the Benue State APC chairman thanked all the party stakeholders and members both at the state and national levels for their supports to ensure that the leadership crisis in the Benue state chapter of the party was resolved once and for all.
He promised that the party at the State level will align with the vision of President Bola Tinubu and Father Hyacinth Alia. He added that the party will ensure that all the forthcoming congresses are all-inclusive and rancour-free.
