The Benue State chapter of All Progressive Congress, APC has commended the state governor, Reverend Father Hyacinth Alia for his monetary support to families of security personnel who lost their lives in active service.
Making the commendation in a press statement this afternoon, Chairman of the Unity Caretaker Committee of the party, Chief Benjamin Omale lauded the government’s unwavering support for the welfare and future of the families of the fallen heroes.
According to him, this gesture is commendable as families of fallen heroes now enjoy full government patronage from monetary support to academic scholarship for their children.
Chief Omale stated that the gesture will further encourage other security personnel who are now rest assured that the welfare of their families and future of their children are guaranteed as they strive to protect their fatherland..
Chief Omale said that the governor should be lauded by all and sundry for remembering the security personnel who died in their quest to make the supreme sacrifice for Benue State and Nigeria as a whole to remain safe from the hands of terrorists.
In another development, Chief Benjamin Omale facilitated with the Secretary to the Benue State Government, Barrister Deborah Serumun Aber who celebrated her birthday today.
In another statement which was obtained by our reporter in Makurdi, the Benue APC chairman stated that it’s only God that has preserved the SSG till now, praying for her to witness many more years on earth and in good health.
Omale while extolling the SSG’s virtues described Barrister Aber as a dedicated and loyal public office holder who has served the administration of Governor Hyacinth Alia diligently.
