A Frontline People’s Democratic Party Governorship aspirant, Chief Michael Kaase Aondoakaa, SAN, has assured the leaders of Benue South Senatorial Zone of Benue State that, if entrusted with the mandate to govern the state in 2027, his administration would operate an inclusive government that would not marginalize or discriminate against any part of the state.
The former Minister for Justice and Attorney General of the Federation made this pledge today when he held a strategic consultation with the PDP G-9, a respected group of elders drawn from the nine local government areas that make up the Benue South Senatorial District of Benue State.
The former chief law officer of the Federation particularly assured the people of Benue South that Zone C would enjoy fairness, equity, and active participation in governance, stating that he feels completely at home in Benue South because he is married to their daughter. He added humorously that whatever a child seeks from home is always granted.
Speaking during the engagement, Chief Aondoakaa appreciated the elders for their warm reception and consistent commitment to the unity and progress of the Peoples Democratic Party in the state. He noted that consultation remains a vital part of leadership and governance, stressing that meaningful development can only be achieved through collective dialogue, inclusion, and mutual understanding among all stakeholders.
Responding on behalf of the G-9, the leader of the group Hon. Amali commended Chief Aondoakaa for the honour and respect accorded to the elders of the district through the consultation visit. He described the former Minister as a seasoned administrator and accomplished public servant with a remarkable track record, expressing confidence that he would not disappoint the people if given the opportunity to serve as governor of Benue State.
Chief Aondoakaa was accompanied on the consultation visit by Prof. Abu Godwin, Rt. Hon. Christopher Afaor, Hon. Joseph Odaudu, Hon. Terwase Iyusa, Hon. Patrick Modom, Engr. John Tsav, Mr. Bolingo Leva, and Mr. Ngusha Aondoakaa, alongside other political associates and supporters.
