Facts have emerged on why Rt. Hon. Regina Akume, a former first lady of Benue State and the embattled wife of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume asked the former governor to return back to Jesus Christ.
Recall that Regina Akume who is the member representing Gboko/Tarkaa Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives on her husband’s birthday few days ago granted a video interview where she pointedly advised the SGF to return back to Christ and leave the devil’s way he started following since he became the SGF.
In her words, the federal lawmaker reminded Senator George Akume that he achieved everything politically through Christianity and not by any other means.
She added that the SGF should return back to Jesus now, noting that he would not succeed in anything he wants to achieve politically again if he keeps going through other means rather than the Christian way.
But findings by this newspaper showed that Madam Regina was actually advising the former governor to stay away from some devilish things he has dipped his hands into since he became the SGF.
A close ally of the SGF told this newspaper that: “No one knows Senator George Akume better than Mama Regina. The truth is that Senator Akume has abandoned God for the devil’s way since he became the SGF just because he wants to use the spirit of darkness to control Benue State and the present administration.
“Madam’s advice is coming at the right time so that the SGF won’t be lost in the way of the devil. He truly has to quit his fetish life and return back to Jesus Christ before it’s too late. And it’s a fact like his wife has said, Senator George Akume got everything he got politically through Christianity so he should return back to the way he has abandoned”
Meanwhile, many believe that the advice from Mrs Akume is a way to expose her husband’s evil way as a result of the secret marriage between him and Ooni ex-queen, Zaynab Wuraola which was exposed on the Social Media few days ago by one Atir Solomon Faeren on the instruction of Mr. Pius Akutah, the Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Shippers Council over his belief that the new wife has started aligning with another governorship aspirant.
Akutah’s media aide, Mr. Faeren had on his Verified Facebook account accused Queen Zaynab Wuraola of jettisoning the agreement she had with Akutah at the initial stage of her relationship with Senator Akume which was to sell him to the SGF as the right candidate for All Progressive Congress for the next Governorship election in Benue state.
