Stop seeing me a leader Agbese advises constituents, says his mentor is SGF Akume

The Deputy Spokesperson of the House of Representatives, Dr. Philip Agbese has advised his constituents to stop seeing him as a leader but rather a servant who God has sent to work for them.

He also said that his mentor is the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume, stressing that he sees Jesus Christ in him each time he sees him.

Agbese made this known in a media note which was published by London Times Newspaper yesterday.

According to him, he was elected as a servant by his people to serve them and also learn new things on the job, adding that for them to start seeing him as a leader isn’t proper.

He wrote: I adopted “servant” against being seen as a leader because I am here to work and learn.

I emulate Jesus Christ and his humility. My mentor is Senator George Akume because I see Jesus Christ in him each time I see him. The man is humble, kind and generous.

We don’t need too many Dangote and Ellon Musk to make the world a beautiful place.

Kindhearted souls are the pebbles used in building the walls of heaven. They make humanity beautiful.
