The Member Representing Katsina-Ala/Ukum/Logo Federal Constituency, Hon. Prince Solomon Wombo during the week received gratification from Students of Holy Ghost College Sankera.

Wombo, while returning from Ayati, Borikyo Council Ward in Ukum Local Government Area where he interacted with the people of Ayati that were displaced by armed herdsmen, had a brief stopover at Holy Ghost College Sankera on a request from the students.

The request was registered through their Principal, Rev. Fr. Raphael Nyihemba. The Principal stated that Holy Ghost College Sankera being a boarding school located in a semi-urban area, her students were persistent victims of snakes bite especially at night.

Due to the persistent occurrence, he (Fr. Nyihemba) approaches Hon. Solomon Wombo and requested for solar street lights and Hon. Wombo graciously granted the request and it was done instantly.

While the students were on vacation, the solar street lights were installed all over the school. On returned, they saw it and were amazed, and we informed them that it was their representative, Hon. Prince Solomon Wombo that donated the solar street lights to the school. The students were very happy and requested for an opportunity to meet with Hon. Prince Solomon Wombo and behold, the Lord has made it today, the Principal stated.

Responding on behalf of the students Master Terdoo Nguuma Jeremiah thanked Hon. Wombo and prayed to God to grant him good health and all his heart desires.

Reacting, Hon. Solomon Wombo expressed happiness over the massive joy expressed by the students and promised to do more. The Prince of Peace alongside his entourage left behind the students with Holy Spirit just as Christ did to his disciples.
