The founder of Zugacoin, Mr. Sam Zuga has come under intense heat over his recent comments against the governor of Benue state, Reverend Father Hyacinth Alia.

Recall that the founder of the controversial Zugacoin had few days ago in a viral video attacked Governor Alia, asking him why he has been fighting everyone in the state since he became governor.

In the video, Zuga stated that a second term isn’t certain for any governor in Benue state (referring to Alia) at the moment.

But reacting to the video, Benue Rebirth Movement through its Secretary-General, Apine Kingsley PhD, said that Sam Zuga lacks the moral right to accuse Governor Alia of fighting everyone since he became governor.

According to Benue Rebirth Movement, the “controversial Bishop who has always been accused of online fraud through his zugacoin” is only preparing himself in the heart of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George as a possible flag bearer of the APC in 2027.

The group said that there is no one whom the governor is having any running battle with apart from the leadership crisis between him and Senator George Akume.

Benue Rebirth Movement said: “Sam Zuga is working for the ticket of the APC and that is why he has been attacking the governor on the social media for some months. We are instructing the self-acclaimed bishop to point to just one person that Governor Alia is having an issue with.

“We are aware that it’s part of the conditions given to Sam Sugar to help Senator George Akume attack Governor Alia for him to have a soft landing in the SGF’s camp in 2027.

Instead of Sam Zuga to face his ministry if truly he was called by God, he is busy saying what he doesn’t understand about the politics in Benue state just because he wants Senator Akume to favour him in 2027”

On the issue of second term, Benue Rebirth Movement cautioned Sam Zuga that he isn’t God Almighty that gives positions to people. The group said the governor’s achievements in all areas will speak for him if he chooses to contest again in 2027.
