Former Benue state first lady, Mrs Eunice Ortom, PhD says she hasn’t discussed with anyone or groups that she will be contesting the Benue Northwest Senatorial election in 2027.
This was contained in a press statement signed by Terver Akase, Media Aide to the immediate past governor of Benue state, Chief Samuel Ortom, PhD.
The statement reads:
The attention of the wife of the immediate past Governor of Benue State, Dr. Mrs. Eunice Ortom has been drawn to discussions circulating on social media with many of the commentators asking her to vie for the 2027 Benue North West Senatorial seat.
Dr. Mrs. Ortom wishes to clarify that she has not discussed with anyone regarding the 2027 Senate election.
The former Benue First Lady expresses her deep appreciation for the goodwill and prayers shown by those calling on her to aspire to represent the people of Zone B at the Senate.
She also wishes them well with their families.
