Ortom takes over Medical bills of ailing ex-Benue officials

The immediate past Governor of Benue State and leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state, Chief Samuel Ortom, PhD has pledged to take over the medical bills of two respected ailing elders, Hon. Dan Igba and Rt. Hon. Innocent Anume.

The leader of the Benue State chapter of the People’s Democratic Party and member of the Board of Trustees of the party made the decision to cover the treatment of the ailing leaders during unscheduled visits to their Makurdi residences to check on them.

Elder Dan Igba, a former Chairman of Makurdi Local Government and Rt. Hon. Innocent Anume who represented the people of Gwer West State Constituency in the Benue State House of Assembly, have been bedridden for some time.

The former Governor also visited his former colleague at PEPSI Nigeria Ltd, Elder Mathias Iorshashe, to thank God for his life and renew their friendship, expressing happiness at his sound health and praying for God to give him more strength.

Rt. Hon. Anume and Mathias Iorshashe, in their separate remarks, appreciated Chief Ortom for his magnanimity and prayed to God to bless him and grant all his heart desires.

The former governor was accompanied by Hon. Adzua Ashongo, Dr. James Anbua, Hon. Abrahams Kwaghngu, Hon. Isaac Mtom, and Elder Ortserga Yankyaa.
