Ortom consoles APC national chairman over mother’s death

The immediate past Governor of Benue State, Chief Samuel Ortom, today sympathized with the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Nentawe Yilwatda Goshwe, over the death of his mother, Mama Lydia Yilwatda, who passed away at the age of 86.

In his condolence message which was signed by Chief Ortom’s Media Adviser, Mr. Terver Akase, the PDP leader in Benue state encouraged Prof. Yilwatda to take solace in the fact that his mother lived a fulfilled life as a devout Christian and exemplified compassion and humility.

He stated that losing a loved one, such as a parent, can be a painful experience, no matter how long the person lived on earth, noting that though Mrs. Yilwatda is no more, she has produced illustrious and responsible children, particularly the APC National Chairman, who has been making enormous contributions to national development.

Chief Ortom prayed that God grants Mama Lydia Yilwatda eternal rest and her family the fortitude to bear the loss
