The authentic chairman of the All Progressive Congress in Benue State, Chief Benjamin Omale together with his colleagues from other states today paid a condolence visit to the national chairman of the party, Professor Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda over the recent demise of his mother.
Omale and other party chairmen who were at the national Secretariat of All Progressive Congress in Abuja to sympathize with Yilwatda used the moment to also congratulate him on his recent emergence as the national chairman.
They stated that his wealth of experience will assist in stabilizing the party ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The state chairmen also thanked President Bola Tinubu for giving Nigeria the dividends of democracy which they have always desired.
They however declared their unalloyed support towards the reelection bid of the president, Governor Hyacinth Alia of Benue State and other Progressive governors in 2027.
Meanwhile, Chief Benjamin Omale while speaking with journalists after the meeting lauded President Bola Tinubu for his supports to Benue state especially in the area of security.
He assured that the entire Benue State is solidly behind the president as he begins his reelection bid ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Omale also lauded Governor Alia’s transformation agenda which he has embarked upon since he became governor in 2023.
According to him, the people of the State have resolved to return him as governor for a second term in 2027.
