The chairman of the Benue State chapter of All Progressive Congress, Chief Benjamin Omale has lauded President Bola Tinubu, Governor Hyacinth Alia and the National Working Committee of the ruling party over the commencement of E-Registration of members across the state.
Omale who made the commendation in a press statement he signed and sent to journalists this morning specifically commended Governor Hyacinth Alia for instructing that there should be no discrimination during the ongoing exercise .
He noted that the governor’s instructions were clear that all members of the party both old and new must be duly registered during the process, noting that no one will be disfranchised under him as the state chairman of the party in Benue state.
According to Omale, the E-Registration exercise which he describes as massive will be a source of massive mobilization of votes for President Bola Tinubu and Governor Hyacinth Alia during the 2027 elections.
He pressed further that both leaders have done very well in all areas of governance to earn them a second term in office in 2027
Speaking further the chairman stated that the exercise follows the successful training of 872 Ward Registration Agents drawn from the three Senatorial Zones of Benue state, clearly demonstrating the party’s preparedness and commitment to a seamless, credible, and transparent process.
“Today represents a major milestone in the growth and modernization of our great party. This e-registration exercise is not just about registering members; it is about strengthening our institutions, deepening internal democracy, embracing technology, promoting transparency, and positioning the APC as an inclusive and future-ready political party” he stressed.
Omale however appreciated Governor Hyacinth Alia for his visionary leadership and unwavering support, noting that: “As the leader of the APC in Benue State and with the highest electoral votes in the state, we commend Your Excellency’s leadership role and your commitment to the development and growth of the party”
Omale also expressed his appreciation to the governor for fully funding the e-registration exercise, adding that: “By doing so, you have removed financial barriers and ensured that every willing party member, regardless of location or status, has the opportunity to be properly captured and carried along”
He stressed: “Your leadership has placed Benue State on the national spotlight as a model of party organization, innovation, and progressive governance. As we formally flag off this exercise, I urge all party members across our wards, local governments, and Senatorial Zones to participate fully with enthusiasm, discipline, and unity of purpose.
“The strength of our party lies in its people, and this exercise provides us another opportunity to reaffirm our collective resolve to build a stronger, more united, and more formidable APC.
“I must also remind all members that the presentation of their National Identification Number (NIN) and Voter’s Card is mandatory for successful registration and proper capture in the party database.
“Finally, I sincerely thank the State Supervisors, Caretaker Committee members, Ward and Local Government Registration Agents, and all stakeholders who have worked tirelessly to make this exercise a success. The deployment of three registration agents per ward is a deliberate effort to ensure speed, efficiency, and timely completion in line with the NEC deadline of 31st January 2026”
