Omale lauds APC Congress Screening/Appeal Committees over credible performance

The Chairman of the Benue State chapter of All Progressive Congress, Chief Benjamin Omale has lauded the Screening and Appeal Committees of the Ward and Local Government Congresses for a credible job done during the exercises.

Omale spoke in a press statement he signed and made available to journalists this afternoon in Makurdi.

In his statement, the Benue APC Chairman lauded the committees for their unbiased and all-inclusive performance to ensure that the party’s Ward and Local Government Congresses are successful.

He appreciated them for a job welldone, noting that they have proved that the All Progressive Congress is a party that does things according to the constitution.

While members of both the Screening and Appeal Committees were departing Benue state peacefully, Chief Benjamin Omale wished them well and prayed for their safe trip back to their destination.

Omale also appreciated the Governor of the State, Reverend Father Hyacinth Alia for creating an enabling environment for both Committees which were sent by the party’s NWC in Abuja to operate without any hitch.

According to him, the governor’s examplary leadership has earned the ruling party the support of the masses across the twenty three local government areas of Benue State.

Recall that all the committee members selected by the National Secretariat of party and saddled with the responsibility of conducting the ward and local government congresses in Benue arrived Makurdi at the weekend for the assignment.

On arrival, the Chairman of Ward and Local Government Screening Committee, Hon. Saidu Adamu and his Secretary, Lawrence Logam invited all aspirants who have purchased forms for various ward and delegate positions to tender their nomination and expression of interest forms at the state party Secretariat, No. 75 JS Tarka Way, Makurdi yesterday  for their screening.
