Omale issues Letters of Reappointment to UCC members, thanks Tinubu, Alia, NWC, others

The chairman of the Unity Caretaker Committee of the Benue State chapter of All Progressive Congress, Chief Benjamin Omale today presented official letters of Reappointment to members of the Unity Caretaker Committee.

The event which took place at the state Secretariat of the party which is located on JS Tarka Way in Makurdi signifies the reappointment of the Seven-man Unity Caretaker Committee led by Chief Benjamin Omale as the chairman.

Speaking during the presentation of the letters which was signed by Senator Surajudeen Ajibola Bashiru, PhD, the National Secretary of APC, the Unity Caretaker Committee chairman appreciated members of his team for working closely with him during their first six months in office, stressing that their achievements necessitated their reappointment by the National Working Committee led by Alhaji Umar Ganduje.

Chief Omale also thanked President Bola Tinubu, Governor Hyacinth Alia, members of the National Working Committee led by Umar Ganduje as well as the Forum of APC State Chairmen for their unwavering supports to the Unity Caretaker Committee.

He stated that their supports had helped him and members of the committee to succeed in their task to bring unity and peace back to the party in Benue state.

Omale however urged every member of the party including the dissolved Excos led by Austin Agada to shelf the idea of bringing troubles into the state, stressing that no one can do outside the Constitution of the party and the power of the NWC because the party is supreme.

He also warned the former State Publicity Secretary of the party, Mr. Dan-Morgan Ihomun to stop issuing inflammatory press statements on behalf of the party again as he no longer has the right to do so. He stressed that Ihomun isn’t above the law as he will be handled by the same law if he impersonates again.

The presentation of the letters was attended by thousands of party youths and various stakeholders of the party across the state.
