The chairman of the Benue State chapter of All Progressive Congress has congratulated the ruling party over its successful National Convention in Abuja.
Omale in his congratulatory message through a press statement he sent to reporters in Abuja appreciated President Bola Tinubu for his support throughout the national exercise.
He also appreciated the Governor of Benue State, Reverend Father Hyacinth Alia as well as other progressive governors for their efforts to ensure that the convention went peacefully.
Also, Chief Benjamin Omale lauded the Organizers of the national convention just as he congratulated the party’s National Working Committee led by Professor Nentawe Yilwadta, noting that their return will further strengthen the party as it goes into the 2027 general elections.
His words: “I extend my deepest appreciation to each and every one of you for your dedication, resilience, and unwavering commitment that led to the resounding success of our National Convention held yesterday in Abuja.
“Your presence, active participation, and collective spirit of unity have once again demonstrated the strength, discipline, and maturity of our party. From the leadership to the grassroots, you all played vital roles in ensuring a peaceful, well-organized, and impactful convention.
“This success is not just an event achieved, but a strong statement of our shared vision, solidarity, and readiness to move forward with renewed purpose. Your sacrifices, coordination, and cooperation have set a solid foundation for the tasks ahead.
“As we return to our respective states and constituencies, let us carry forward the momentum, strengthen our structures, and continue to work together in unity for the progress of our party and the development of our nation.
“Thank you for your tireless efforts, your loyalty, and your belief in our collective mission. God bless you all”
However, Chief Omale stated that he is hopeful that the ruling party will maintain it’s strength and win the 2027 general elections at all levels.
He stated further that both President Bola Tinubu and Governor Hyacinth Alia have done creditably well to earn them a second term in office as president and Governor respectively.
Finally, the Benue State APC chairman urged all members, leaders and stakeholders of the ruling party across the Federation not to relent in their efforts to ensure that President Bola Tinubu as well as the performing progressive governors are returned back to office during the next general elections.
Recall that the Benue State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Friday participated in the party’s National Convention held at Eagle Square, Abuja, where its State Chairman, Chief Dr. Benjamin Omale, was formally adopted and ratified.
Dr. Omale led a high-powered delegation comprising state executives, delegates and key stakeholders to attend the party’s 4th National Convention.
The convention, which attracted party leaders from across the federation, featured the dissolution, constitution and inauguration of newly elected National Working Committee members, with Professor Nentawe Yilwatda emerging as the party’s National Chairman.
One of the major outcomes of the convention was the adoption and ratification of party leadership at all levels, including ward, local government, state and zonal structures across the country.
The adoption followed a motion moved by President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio, who affirmed that the congresses were conducted in substantial compliance with the Electoral Act and the party’s guidelines, thereby reinforcing the APC’s grassroots architecture.
The motion was seconded by the Chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum and Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodimma, and received overwhelming support from delegates.
