Benue APC chairman, Omale attends Ogbeh’s burial, eulogizes deceased

The chairman of the Unity Caretaker Committee of the Benue State chapter of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Chief Benjamin Omale yesterday attended the burial ceremony of a former Minister for Agriculture, Chief Audu Ogbeh who passed on to glory few weeks ago.

Chief Audu Ogbeh who had once served as the national chairman of the People’s Democratic Party was laid to rest at his country home in Efugo, Otukpa, Ogbadibo Local Government Area of Benue State.

In his eulogies, Chief Omale described the late Audu Ogbeh as a man of integrity who he said lived his life for the country.

Describing the elder statesman as a “lifetime achiever”, the Benue APC chairman said that the people of Benue State will always be grateful to the legendary leader for his respected voice on national issues.

He also praised the deceased for his unrelenting service to the state and the country while he was alive, saying that his outstanding contributions to the political struggle of the country distinguished him as a true legend.

He remarked that the late Ogbeh as a dogged, fearless and patriotic leader who was passionate about the interests of his people and the peaceful co-existence of Nigerians.
