Alia begins construction on Benue roads as Speaker calls for prayer for Benue govt

The gvernor of Benue State, Hyacinth Iormem Alia, has officially commenced the construction of the Koti Yough- Adikpo Road, a major thoroughfare connecting the Kwande and Vandeikya Local Government Areas of the state.

This critical infrastructure project is set to greatly enhance connectivity and improve the quality of life for residents in the state.

According to reports, the road, once completed, will provide a vital link between these two local government areas, facilitating the seamless movement of goods, services, and people.

The Koti Yough- Adikpo Road project is expected to be completed within a specified timeframe, underscoring the state government’s dedication to delivering timely and efficient infrastructure development for the people of Benue.

Meanwhile, the speaker of the Benue State House of Assembly and Vice Chairman (North Central) Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures of Nigeria, Aondona Dajoh has called on the people of Gwer Local Government Area to rally support for the administration of Governor Hyacinth Alia to succeed.

Chief Dajoh stated this yesterday during the Thanksgiving Service organized in honour of Chairman Gwer East Local Government Council held at the Redeemed Christian Church Taraku.

He said the Governor has placed high premium on infrastructural development to give the State a new facelift, saying the urban renewal train of the Governor would hit Gwer soon and urged them to keep faith with the Governor and his administration.

The Speaker called on the people of the area to sustain prayers and support for the 10th Assembly to enact quality legislations that would benefit people of the state.

Member Representing Gwer at the Assembly, Hon. Elias Audu, expressed appreciation to the Speaker and Governor Hyacinth Alia for their efforts in providing good governance, describing the governor as best thing that happened to the state.

Hon Audu assures the Governor that the people of Gwer Local Government Area would continue to give Governor Alia the necessary support to succeed.
