Aondoakaa gets Mbagwa community backing ahead of 2027

The Mbagwa Community of Ushongo Local Government Area on Saturday paid a solidarity visit to their son and the PDP Governorship Candidate for Benue State, Chief Michael Kaase Aondoakaa, assuring him of their total and unwavering support for his 2027 governorship ambition.

Speaking on behalf of the delegation, the PDP State Assembly Candidate for Mbagwa State Constituency, Hon. Bemson Agugu, alongside Elder Abayol and Chief Mrs. Veronica Gajir, declared that the people of Mbagwa stand firmly behind Aondoakaa and are fully committed to the success of his political project. They described his aspiration as a worthy cause that commands the support of his kinsmen and the people of Ushongo.

Responding, Aondoakaa expressed appreciation to the people of Mbagwa for their solidarity, describing them as his kinsmen and critical stakeholders in the project. He stressed that the political project belongs to all of them and urged the people to take ownership by rallying massive support for the PDP across the state.

He particularly charged them to work for the victory of all PDP candidates, from the Senate and House of Representatives to the State House of Assembly, stressing that the emergence of a united PDP team at all levels would be critical to achieving the desired transformation in Benue State.

Aondoakaa also called on the people to remain united, work with one another and avoid divisions, emphasizing that victory could only be achieved through collective effort and genuine cooperation.

Also speaking, the PDP Senatorial Candidate for Benue North East, Hon. Thomas Tyolumun Unongo, and the House of Representatives Candidate, Hon. Moses Mkeenem, appealed to the people of Mbagwa to unite behind their son and support Aondoakaa’s ambition.

They described Aondoakaa as a seasoned and experienced statesman with the capacity, knowledge and exposure required to provide purposeful leadership and take Benue State to greater heights.

As a symbolic demonstration of their solidarity and cultural identity, the Mbagwa delegation dressed Chief Aondoakaa in Tiv traditional regalia, reaffirming their pride in their son and their commitment to his political journey.
