The Benue State All Progressive Congress chairman, Chief Benjamin Omale has called on all the aggrieved members of the party to stop the ideas of sponsoring critics against Governor Hyacinth Alia’s administration.
Omale who said this in a statement he personally signed and made available to Journalists in Makurdi this morning added that the governor has performed creditably well and doesn’t deserve the criticism he receives from aggrieved members of the ruling party.
According to Omale, “What goes round will come round , noting that whatever the agrrieved members do to attack the Governor in the media will also be done to them any day they too assume a position of authority.
The Benue APC chairman pressed further that one day, their own children or relatives will get to power and critics will be sponsored against them since what they are doing to attack Governor Alia now are being recorded.
Chief Omale however pleaded with them to join hands with the governor in his plan to develop Benue state
He also begged them to continue to proclaim the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu to the people of Benue State.
Omale stated that the roads which the Governor is building in Benue state are for the benefit of the people of the State across party lines, noting that this should be applauded instead sponsoring critics to attack him.
He noted that the fact that the governor didn’t release state funds to some individuals to squander doesn’t mean that they took aren’t benefiting from the road projects and other laudable projects of his administration.
Omale further added that the judicious spending of the Governor has enabled him to do several projects for the benefit of all the people of Benue.
He however lauded the governor for not being distracted despite the criticism he has been facing.
Finally, Omale assured the governor that the Benue APC Is solidly ready to deliver the state for him and President Bola Tinubu in 2027
