African Democratic Congress (ADC) has unveiled its successful candidates for the 2027 general elections.

*ADC Ondo State Announces Successful Conduct of 2027 Primary Elections, Unveils Candidates for Senate, House of Representatives and House of Assembly*
The leadership and members of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Ondo State Chapter, today, 23rd May, 2026, converged at the party’s State Secretariat in Akure to officially announce the results of the primary elections conducted on Thursday, 21st May, 2026, for the emergence of candidates who will represent the party in the 2027 General Elections.
The primaries, which covered the Senate, House of Representatives and House of Assembly seats across Ondo State, were conducted in a peaceful, transparent, free and credible atmosphere across all the 18 Local Government Areas of the state.
It is noteworthy that in most of the constituencies, the leadership of the party worked tirelessly and assiduously to achieve consensus arrangements among aspirants. This noble effort demonstrated the spirit of unity, maturity, mutual respect and oneness of purpose that currently exists within the ADC family in Ondo State.
Members and stakeholders of the party expressed satisfaction and appreciation over the orderly, cordial and transparent conduct of the primaries. The exercise has further strengthened the confidence of the people in ADC as the credible alternative and the party truly prepared to rescue Nigeria from the failed and insensitive administration of the ruling APC government.
The results and declaration of candidates were conducted by the Chairman of the National Primary Election Committee, Hon. Dele Ajibola who was delegated by the National Headquarters of the party to supervise the exercise.
Consequently, the following candidates emerged and were duly returned elected as candidates of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) for the 2027 General Elections:

The African Democratic Congress assures the people of Ondo State and Nigerians at large that the party is committed to people-oriented governance that prioritizes security, welfare and prosperity for all citizens.
An ADC-led government will pursue practical and sustainable policies aimed at guaranteeing the security of lives and property through improved community policing, intelligence gathering, support for security agencies and zero tolerance for criminality.
The party is equally determined to eradicate hunger and poverty by creating jobs, empowering farmers, supporting small and medium-scale businesses, boosting local industries and ensuring economic opportunities for youths and women across the state and the country.
In the area of healthcare, ADC is committed to providing accessible and affordable healthcare services for the people, especially vulnerable citizens, women, children and the elderly, through functional primary healthcare centres, improved medical infrastructure and expanded health intervention programmes.
Furthermore, the party will prioritize affordable and quality education by investing massively in schools, teacher development, educational infrastructure, technology-driven learning and scholarship opportunities for students, while ensuring that no child is denied access to education because of poverty.
ADC therefore calls on all members, supporters and the good people of Ondo State to remain united, steadfast and committed as the party continues its mission to build a secure, prosperous and people-centered Nigeria.
