The chairman of the Benue State chapter of All Progressive Congress, Chief Benjamin Omale has congratulated the ruling party over a successful North Central Congress which was held in Lafia yesterday.
Chief Omale who spoke in a press statement he personally signed and issued to journalists in Makurdi this afternoon said that the Congress has demonstrated a firm control of the party in the North Central region.
The chairman press further by restated his support to the reelection bid of President Bola Tinubu and Governor Hyacinth Alia in 2027.
According to him, both Tinubu and Alia have done creditably well to deserve a second term as Nigeria president and Governor of Benue State respectively.
Chief Omale in his statement also congratulated two Benue sons who were elected and inaugurated as members of the APC North Central executive council..
Recall that Comrade Ajoma Success Ode and Mr. David Aondofa were elected and inaugurated as members of the APC North Central Excos in Lafia yesterday.
Omale said the milestone achievement is a testament to their unwavering dedication, strategic leadership, and collective resolve to strengthen the ruling party at the zonal level.
The chairman however appreciated the party’s National Working Committee for using the North Central Congress to resolve the leadership tussle in the Benue State chapter of the party by pronouncing Governor Hyacinth Alia as the leader of the party in the state.
Lastly, Omale promised that the state chapter of All Progressive Congress will continue to mobilize for the reelection of President Bola Tinubu and Governor Hyacinth Alia.
