The 2027 governorship ambition of a former Minister for Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Chief Michael Kaase Aondoakaa, SAN today received boost as youth groups across Benue State threw their supports behind him.
The event took place today when Youth leaders from Gboko Road, Wurukum, BBL, Agbadu, Gyado Villa, Abua, and the International Market paid a courtesy visit to Chief Aondoakaa , the “Ivaanayange i Tiv” at his private residence in Makurdi.
During the visit, leaders of the various youth groups expressed their solidarity and support for Chief Aondoakaa’s governorship aspiration ahead of the 2027 elections, stressing that he is a round peg in a round hole.
According to them, the Frontline aspirant had used his office as AGF to elevate several Benue sons and daughters, adding that his wealth of experience is needed at this critical time in the state..
The youths described Chief Aondoakaa as a tested leader with the capacity, experience, and courage required to reposition Benue State, particularly in addressing insecurity, economic stagnation, and youth unemployment.
They noted that his consistent interventions on national platforms and his deep understanding of governance have renewed hope among young people across the state.
They however expressed their commitment to mobilize support across their respective communities in support of Chief Aondoakaa’s bid to lead Benue State.
Responding, Chief Aondoakaa appreciated the delegation for the show of confidence and assured them that the future of Benue must be driven by purposeful leadership anchored on justice, security, peace and inclusive development.
He charged the youths to remain peaceful, mobilized, and politically conscious as critical stakeholders in the ongoing process of reclaiming the state for effective governance.
