The national leader of Omoluabi Progressives, Ogbeni Raufu Aregbesola has advised members of the Ondo State chapter of the advocacy group to be steadfast and ready to participate fully in the forthcoming general elections.
The former governor of the State of Osun made this known during the first meeting of the year 2026 held by the group in Akure over the weekend.
Represented by Barrister Jimoh Akano, the Omoluabi Progressives national leader Speaking Bar. Jimoh Akano thanked everyone for their attendance.
Appreciating God Almighty for making the meeting possible, Akano spoke about the next step which is to register the ADC State Chairman as member of OMOLUABI PROGRESSIVES.
He also kick-started the registration of membership Roster, form, and card that were made available to the three Senatorial District Coordinators to enable membership registration process.
He however encouraged all Omoluabi Progressives coordinators across the state not to relent but be focused on the task ahead of them.
Earlier, the Chairman, Hon. Femi Johnson welcomed members of OMOLUABI PROGRESSIVES present at the meeting and the National Leader Ogeni Rauf Aregbesola represented by Barrister Jimoh Akano , ADC State Chairman Barr. Wole Ademoyegun , Alhaji Hammer taiwo, among others present.
Hon. Johnshon thanked all 18 local government Coordinators for their steadfastness and the efforts they made for the realization of the first meeting of the year 2026.
He further stated the importance of OMOLUABI PROGRESSIVES in ADC coalition.
In his own speech Barr. Wole Ademoyegun, the ADC Chairman in Ondo state thanked the OMOLUABI PROGRESSIVES Leadership for the honor given to him to be present.
Ademoyegun said he appreciates OMOLUABI PROGRESSIVES for all the efforts during the Coalition struggle, noting that he was happy to be a bonafide member of the advocacy group led by Ogbeni Raufu Aregbesola. “Omoluabi is ADC and ADC is Omoluabi” he said.
Also Speaking, Hon. Sodiq Olajide who is the Admin of OMOLUABI PROGRESSIVES in Osun State thanked the Chairman of the ADC in Ondo state for his speech.
Olajide clarified that OMOLUABI PROGRESSIVES is a Socio-political Organization and not a Political Party, noting that ADC as a party supersedes all.
He further enlightened members present about OMOLUABI PROGRESSIVES core values and the history of how OMOLUABI began by Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola.
He charged that OMOLUABI members should be courageous wherever they find themselves, noting that they must show competence in any position they are given to hold.
