On the 13th of December 2025, all roads will indeed lead to Gboko—the spiritual headquarters of the Tiv nation—as some of its finest sons gather to receive distinguished traditional titles. The paramount ruler of the Tiv Nation, His Royal Majesty, Orchivirigh, Prof. James Iorzua Ayatse, Tor Tiv V, will confer honours on eminent personalities who have excelled in various fields of human endeavour and contributed to the growth, unity and prestige of the Tiv nation.
Among these illustrious honorees is my leader, mentor and boss, the Member representing Katsina-Ala/Ukum/Logo Federal Constituency in the 10th National Assembly, Hon. Prince Solomon Wombo.
Fondly known as The Prince of Peace, Hon Prince Solomon Wombo stands out in contemporary politics for his calm disposition, sincerity of purpose, and the humility of a servant-leader. He brings into politics the mindset and discipline of a clergy—he is known for speaking the truth, avoiding insults, shunning political hostility, and choosing constructive engagement over confrontation.
His generosity and belief in lifting others are reflected in his constant support for young people across Sankera and beyond. Through mentorship and empowerment, he is grooming one of the most promising generations of young leaders, promoting a brand of peaceful, polished, and progressive politics that will shape the future of the region for decades to come.
It is therefore no surprise that in just two years at the Green Chamber, Hon. Wombo has recorded remarkable achievements. His interventions in education through scholarships, healthcare through hospital renovation and equipment supply, water provision, youth and women empowerment, recruitments, and agricultural support programmes—including fertiliser distribution—have left visible footprints of impact. His commitment to strengthening security initiatives within the constituency further demonstrates his dedication to protecting lives and fostering stability.
In every sense, Hon. Prince Solomon Princess Cynthia Mnguaorga Wombo exemplifies the qualities of a compassionate leader and a true son of the Tiv nation. This honour being bestowed upon him is not only well deserved but also a commendation of his service, integrity, and people-centered leadership. It is a recognition that will undoubtedly inspire him to do even more for his constituents and for the entire Tiv nation.
As Gboko prepares to host this historic event, I proudly join the league of well-wishers to congratulate a great son of Sankera and the Tiv nation — my leader, mentor, and boss, Hon. Prince Solomon Wombo — on this well-deserved honour.
Your dedication, humility, and service to our people continue to inspire us. Congratulations, Sir. More victories ahead!
