The Ivaanayange U Tiv and former Minister for Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, High Chief Mike Kaase Aondoakaa, SAN has called for peace and unity among the sons and daughters of the Tiv nation.
High Chief Aondoakaa made this passionate appeal while addressing a large crowd that gathered at JS Tarkaa Stadium in Gboko yesterday to grace the occasion of the 2025 Tiv Cultural Day and conferment of Chieftaincy titles to worthy sons and daughters of Tiv nation.
Also, his beloved wife, Chief Mrs. Susan Nguvan Aondoakaa, was honored with the title of “Ako u Ivaanayange.”
In his acceptance speech at the event, Aondoakaa who was accompanied by His Excellency Sen. Abdul’aziz, his family, political and business associates appreciated the Tiv Traditional Council for the honour bestowed on him and his family.
Chief Aondoakaa further expressed his deep appreciation to the Tor Tiv and the Tiv Traditional Council for deeming him worthy of such a great honor, promising to carry the title with dignity.
He promised to carry the title with dignity that will always glorify the Tiv Traditional Council.
He further made a passionate appeal for peace and unity among all Tiv sons and daughters, stating that growth can only be achieved when a people stand together.
